Synopsis: A man promises to shelter a friend who has killed a man from feuds. Then his brother's ghost comes to him and asks for vengeance, for it is the brother that the friend killed. But the man refuses to break his word. The dead brother curses him with a name, "Ticonderoga" whose meaning is a mystery to the man and everyone he knows, until much later.
