Note: Screenplay for the TV movie 'Przekładaniec' (1968, aka 'Layer Cake', aka 'Roly Poly') first published in Ekran magazine.
Synopsis: The theme is very near to the one dealt with in 'Czy pan istnieje, Mr. Johns?' (1957), ('Do You Exist, Mr. Johns?').
Whereas in the 1957 piece the protagonist was transformed in a few steps to a more and more robotic entity, and is sued for either paying back the costs or become the property of the supplying company, in 'Przekładaniec' the protagonist (named Jones) seeks help with an advocate to get clearance about his entity, because parts of his body were transplanted from his brother: so is he now married with his former sister-in-law or is he still the original human? And things get more difficult after another car-crash.
