Synopsis: Henry Thompson has dedicated his life to improving America's infrastructure as a proud employee of the United States Municipal Survey. When his office comes under attack from a mysterious terrorist organization that seems to have suspicious knowledge of the USMS's inner workings, he dutifully accepts an unexpected mission to visit the insular Metropolis branch and get answers. The mission comes with an unexpected partner, too: a rebellious, day-drinking AI named OWEN who just so happens to be the holographic avatar of the USMS's state of the art supercomputer. It'll take teeth-clenching teamwork from the two if they want to uncover the shady plots that lie just beneath Metropolis' gleaming surface, and hard-won trust if Henry and OWEN want to make it out alive.
