Synopsis: After a great issue 1 (Sparrow, where Bode finds the Beast Key), in chapter 2 the kids use the Skin Key to visit Erin Voss and learn a bit more about what Dodge did when their dad was in high school (White), then in chapter 3 (February) they battle Dodge when he uses a key that makes the plants attack, then find two keys hidden in a book (the "bat-cave" key, which was on the end-paper, but not int he Guide to Known Keys) and the Angel-Key, then Bode finds the Hercules-Key and the Giant Key, Dodge attacks with the Music-Box Key and another which causes the stuffed animals to attack the kids.
Each of those keys deserved a better look, but IDW had limited the guys to 6 issues.
Chapter 4 (Casualties) expands the Rufus character and his partial immunity to the keys that will be so pivotal, and his friendship with the ghost of Samuel Lesser, who discloses to Rufus that Dodge is watching him using the philosophoscope key and the shadow key. Chapter 5 (Detectives, issues 5 and 6) the kids discover the pattern in the attacks and Tyler finds some of the stolen memories, the murder investigation by the police causes Dodge to step up his personal attacks, untill he steals Bode's body.
