- Those three printings appear to be identical for the stories alone, which span pp. 3-527. There are interior differences. The 1968 title page shows Poe's Tales of Mystery and Imagination, SBN: 460 00336 4. The 1968 and 1969 Contents list, p1-2, is annotated to indicate "the place and date of first publication (where known)".
- The 1938 copyright page ("Made in Great Britain ... for J. M. Dent ...") reports 12 printings (quote): First Published in this Edition, 1908 Reprinted 1909, 1910, 1912, 1914, 1916, 1917, 1921, 1925, 1928, 1931, 1938
