Note: MZB wrote a story called "The Children of Kings" during the 1950's, and published an extract from it in "Astra's Tower Leaflet #1" in 1952. This may have been published in a fanzine that we have not yet indexed, but we do not yet know. In her notes to this book, Deborah Ross discusses the development of this novel, but makes no reference to that earlier story of Bradley's.
