Note: A fantasy written in the style of a mostly-Shakespearian play. The play was filmed as a 97-minute movie, directed by Willits, in 2010; it won a California Film Awards' gold award.
Synopsis: In 1958, reclusive 85-year-old millionaire Amanda Carson died and left her estate to her thirty cats. This play, in the style of Shakespeare but the mood of Gilbert & Sullivan and Brecht, purports to be written by the cats themselves as they exaggeratedly defend themselves from the townsfolk of Eureka who come to steal the fortune, and how the surviving cats plot to return and rescue their imprisoned friends.
