Synopsis: Welcome to Soul City: you're just in time because the mayoral election is about to start. It's a contest between the Jazz Party, the Soul Music Party, and the Hiphop Nation. Soul City is a very peaceful, very funky, and very magical little American town, where kids use their allowance money to buy records from the Vinyl Man, roses bloom in the cracks of the sidewalks, and the nastiest gossip queen in town is a mind reader. When journalist Cadillac Jackson arrives to profile the community for a big city magazine, he has little idea that the new mayor will lose his mind, an evil shampoo tycoon will attempt to brainwash the metropolis, and Cadillac will himself fall for Mahogany Sunflower, the hottest girl in town. And it's only when they start having flying sex that Cadillac realizes his goose is really cooked. Along the way, he may very well learn about himself and about race in America.
