Synopsis: Earthling Perry Rhodan, "Peacelord of the Universe", having captured a huge battle cruiser from a reptilian species attacking a humanoid species in the Vega System, assembles a force of human psychic mutants and returns to the conflict, where he uses the mutants' talents to discourage and confuse the reptilians into withdrawing with a minimum of actual fighting.
