Synopsis: "Three lads who have to make their way in the world set sail for Sydney, but long before they get there they meet with several marvelous adventures, and strange experiences, ending with a remarkable find of treasure, enough to give 20 thousand pounds to each, and to enable them to buy back the old farm, which had so long been the inheritance of their family. The story is throughout brisk and vigorous, and if it is rather improbable at times, that is not much of a drawback in the eyes of boyish readers." The Bookseller Jan. 10, 1895.
