Note: Published under various imprints between 1985 and 1989 by Hamlyn, then Arrow Books. It could even be viewed as a magazine of sorts as there was one book per month planned. The series was edited by Rog Peyton and Rod Milner. The cover illustrations for all books in the series were by Eddie Jones. The spine imprint changed from Hamlyn to Arrow during the course of the series, the "V" logo changed colour, and the "SF" moved from below the "V" to above -- see the linked ISFDB Wiki page for sample spine scans.
