Low[,] and Searle", one title page and several newspaper advertisements imply this full address, but omit a piece or two: : Crown Buildings, 188, Fleet-street, London, E.C. Sampson Low (1797–1886) was a bookseller and stationer from 1819. He and Sampson Low Jr (1822–1871) established the "dedicated publishing house" Sampson Low, Son & Co. in 1848. Low's other son William Henry Low (d. 1881) was active after 1871. Low senior retired in 1875.
