Note: Cleveland, Ohio, and New York City The World Publishing Company This publisher generally has codes on the title page that indicate the impression number and actual print date. A first printing will have a code such as "WP 9-50" indicating a printing month of 1950-09 (although the actual publication date might be slightly later than that, e.g. 1-2 months). This format may vary slightly, e.g. "WP363", "FD566", or "BPWP865". (We do not know what the "FD" or "BP" represent.) Later printings will be indicated by a number preceding this code, e.g. "3HC1058" indicates a 3rd printing, printed in Oct. 1958. Alfred H.
