  • Notes: 2018 Source text not identified. Evidently this is a transcript of The Phantom Ship (London: Dent; Boston: Little, Brown; 1896), or The Novels of Captain Marryat, edited by R. Brimley Johnson, volume 10. ISFDB contains two publication records, one for each publisher (as volume 9). The original does not name Johnson on the title page, only on a preliminary leaf that identifies the series. Thus the original introduction is not explicitly credited, but it ends with the line "R. B. J." (Original viewed as HathiTrust Digital Library 012294087 (J. M. Dent, 1896).) 2009 Originally published in three volumes, and then republished 8 years later as a single volume edition. This ebook edition was produced by Ted Garvin, Josephine Paolucci, and the Project Gutenberg Online Distributed Proofreading Team. This ebook edition is available from Project Gutenberg in ISO-8859-1 and other formats as Ebook #12954.
