    • The illustrated limitation page (which also serves as a frontispiece) faces the title page, bearing the statement "This specially bound copy has been signed by the author" above which is the author's signature and a handprinted number in the format "xxx/250" with xxx indicating the copy number.
    • "This novel was first published in the USA under the title Eyes of Fire" (over) "First publication in Great Britain/First Hardcover edition" stated on the copyright page.
    • This limitation statement appears on the copyright page: "This book has been limited to 1026 copies. 26 copies have been quarter-bound in leather and reserved for private distribution. 250 copies have been specially bound ini cloth, signed and numbered by the author, and slip-cased with a hardcover copy of Within the Walls of Tyre; these copies comprise the collector's edition." Personal correspondence with the publisher by the verifier confirms that the private edition was never published.
    • Slipcased in a clothbound box (matching the cloth of the book), and dustjacketed. Contained in the box is a clothbound separate hardcover book (unjacketed) containing the first publication of the author's screenplay version of his story "Within the Walls of Tyre".
    • The ISBNs of both this Collector's Edition (0-948893-38-9) and the Trade Edition (0-948893-39-7) are stated on the copyright page.
    • The frontispiece/limitation page's illustration is not credited but the artist's signature is visible.
    • "Dust-jacket design and illustration: Marshall Mateer" printed on the back flap of the dustjacket with the ISBNs of both editions. The prices of both editions are printed on the front flap of the dust jacket.
    • Year of publication stated on the title page. Month of publication from the author's website.
