Note: This pulp magazine was a fantasy/weird/supernatural companion to Clayton's Astounding Stories and was edited by Harry_Bates, the Astounding editor. It started out as a bi-monthly, but was soon forced to change to a quarterly, which was made official in the October 1932 issue. It folded in early 1933, around the same time as Clayton's Astounding, and before the 8th issue could be published.
There was a semiprofesional reprint anthology in 1976, Strange Tales by "Odyssey Publications", which contained an article about the magazine's history, Strange Tales: A Strange Tale by Will_Murray.
