• Note: Thomas Roscoe in his introduction to Grimm's stories in The German Novelists claims this author to be a third brother Grim or perhaps a "country cousin". He further gives the name to the three Grimms writing together as "M. M. Grimm". Unfortunately, Roscoe does not provide the first name of this other Grimm, but does provide the other details listed in the author record as well as stating that this author served as the rector of Weenheim. Roscoe does list several works written by this author alone, but does not give their German titles and thus none of this information has been corroborated. The other titles are:
