Note: Very little is known about this French author. The ''Catalogue général'' of the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) mentions seven books, four of which belong to the Fantasy / Horror categories, all in the famed Angoisse series published by Fleuve Noir. The BnF further mentions two different birth dates (1952 and 1954), both almost certainly wrong since José Michel's books were published in the sixties. The site provides no "notice d'autorité" (authorship notice), and therefore no link, for this writer whose name is most likely a pseudonym. The pseudonym is mentioned here, and is said there to be from the mother of André Caroff, Lucienne Michel.
