"James Platt, the Younger" is the title of a 1910 study by William Platt, and his canonical name at the British Library (BL 002933109, BL 014823529). A printed obituary, perhaps dated "10 Feb 10" by hand, is displayed in the HathiTrust Digital Library e-copy of the 1894 collection as image 10. As the HDL view is assembled, it appears to have been scanned as a clipping pasted on the back of the title page.
