The copyright entry shows her living in Plant City, Florida at the time the book was published. There are no easily found Florida obituaries for this name of the appropriate time period. [Mrs. Lula V. Hampton, 87, of Plant City, died in 1958, according to the Tampa Times. A 1928 article noted she gave a copy of her book, 'Ghosts in My Study,' to the local library.]
