Note: National Award.
- The Ditmar Award, formerly the "Australian Science Fiction Achievement Award", is awarded annually at the Australian National Science Fiction Convention to recognize achievement in Australian science fiction (including fantasy and horror) and science fiction fandom.
- A fan-voted award.
- Originally had both International and Australian categories. Last year with an international category was 1989.
- "Australian" was dropped from all award category names from 2004, although was used / not used inconsistently in the years 1990 to 2003. (i.e. used some years &/or some categories)
- In 1974 there appear to have been no awards (or just a "Special Award"?)
- In 2000, the original nominations were replaced by a second round from which the winners were agreed. Only the 2nd round appear here under "2000". Refer to the "Inkspillers" site at users.tpg.com.au for more information.(First round list can also be found on wikipedia site.)
