  • Note: Eidolon was an Australian Semi-Prozine, published from North Perth, Australia from 1990 to 2000. It was a quarterly publication that was available by subscription. The initial subscription rates were A$20 for four issues within Australia, and A$35 for overseas via airmail. However, the first issue was free, and many subscribers received the second half of a certain double issue for free. The final subscription rates were A$38:50 for four issues within Australia, A$57 for overseas via airmail, and $A46 for overseas via surface mail. For a time, there were two different covers, one intended for subscribers, and the other for newagencies and/or bookshops. (The Eidolon web site has images that suggest that this was from issue 9 to issue 14.) The version for subscribers simply had an eidolon symbol on the front cover, whereas the version for distribution via newsagencies had some text on the front cover also. At some stage the magazine could be purchased on a single-issue basis in the United States from Mark V. Ziesing Bookseller. Sources of information include the Eidolon web site, and a full run of subscriber copies.
